The Macerator is the early ore-doubling machine of the Ala Industrial mod for Minecraft 26.2 (Java Edition). Load an ore block — iron, copper, gold, tin, silver, nickel or uranium, regular or deepslate — or the matching raw ore, and the Macerator grinds out two dusts: two ingots from a single vein instead of one. A finished ingot grinds into only one dust, a deliberate net-zero that stops the ingot-dust-ingot loop from duplicating metal. Each grind runs 150 ticks (about 7.5 seconds) and costs 300 EU: the Macerator is an LV machine (low voltage, up to 32 EU per tick) that draws 2 EU per tick while working and keeps a buffer (internal energy reserve) of 800 EU. The recipe fits a crafting table: three flint across the top, iron ingots down the sides, a machine casing in the centre and an electronic circuit at the bottom-centre.

Beyond metals the Macerator stretches vanilla resources: a bone gives four bone meal instead of three, cobblestone becomes sand and turns any cobble farm into a renewable glass and concrete supply, sandstone gives four sand, a blaze rod gives three blaze powder, sugar cane gives two sugar, and any wool returns four string. Every one of these grinds still costs 300 EU. Non-metal ores double the same way — coal, diamond and emerald ore give two dusts, with lapis ore the deliberate exception at six. Power arrives through the five working faces while the front face takes neither cables nor hoppers, and the finished dust must be collected by hand or hopper because the Macerator has no auto-output. Breaking the block with a pickaxe drops it without the stored charge. The Macerator behaves identically on Fabric and NeoForge, smelts its dusts in the Electric Furnace and closes the coal loop through the Compressor.
