Palladium Dust
Palladium Dust is the ground form of Ala Industrial's only Nether metal: one ore macerates into two dusts, doubling the yield of the mod's scarcest ingot.
Description
Doubling is the point of grinding: smelting one ore directly yields a single Palladium Ingot, while the Macerator route turns the same ore into 2 Palladium Dust and then 2 ingots for 700 EU in total (300 EU of grinding plus two 200 EU smelts). Palladium Dust is one of only two dusts in the mod — the other is Uranium Dust — that smelt exclusively in the Electric Furnace: neither the vanilla furnace nor the Iron Furnace reads the recipe. From the ingot, palladium feeds the nuclear branch: 1 Palladium Ingot plus 3 Tempered Iron makes 3 Shielding Alloy Ingots in the Alloy Smelter, the material the mod's reactor room is built from. Ala Industrial is a Java-only mod for Minecraft 26.2 and runs on both Fabric and NeoForge.

Mine palladium ore in the Nether
Dig between Y 8 and Y 32 — the sweet spot sits near Y 20 — with a diamond pickaxe or better: iron and below drop nothing from Palladium Ore.

Build and power a Macerator
The Macerator is an LV machine that accepts up to 32 EU per tick; hook it to any LV source such as a Generator.

Grind the ore into two dusts
Place a Palladium Ore block or Raw Palladium in the input slot: one grind takes 150 ticks (about 7.5 seconds), costs 300 EU, and yields 2 Palladium Dust.

Smelt each dust in the Electric Furnace
Only the Electric Furnace reads the dust recipe: each Palladium Dust becomes one Palladium Ingot for 200 EU in about 5 seconds.
A Palladium Ingot or a Palladium Plate grinds back into just 1 Palladium Dust, so the loop ingot → dust → ingot never creates metal; grind only ore and raw material when doubling matters.
