Palladium Ingot
Palladium Ingot is the smelted form of Ala Industrial's only Nether metal — one ingot plus three Tempered Iron makes three Shielding Alloy Ingots.
Description
Palladium Ingot feeds the nuclear line of the mod. The Alloy Smelter melts one Palladium Ingot with three Tempered Iron into three Shielding Alloy Ingots for 1200 EU over 150 ticks (~7.5 s) — the biggest alloy output in Ala Industrial — and an entire reactor room is built from that shielding alloy. The Compressor presses an ingot into a Palladium Plate for 260 EU, the hand-held Forge Hammer does the same on a crafting table, and Palladium Plates then go into the Reactor Control Circuit and the Advanced Choke. Palladium works in Minecraft 26.2 Java Edition on both Fabric and NeoForge; a Bedrock version does not exist.

How to get and use Palladium Ingot

Mine Palladium Ore in the Nether
Take a diamond pickaxe to the lower third of the Nether (Y 8–32) and look for small veins — iron tools and below drop nothing.

Smelt the ore or the raw drop
Put Raw Palladium or the ore block into any furnace for one Palladium Ingot each; the Electric Furnace and the Iron Furnace work too.

Double the yield in the Macerator
Grind the ore block or Raw Palladium into two Palladium Dust for 300 EU, then smelt each dust in the Electric Furnace for 200 EU per ingot.

Melt the Shielding Alloy
Load one Palladium Ingot and three Tempered Iron into the Alloy Smelter: 1200 EU and 150 ticks later the output holds three Shielding Alloy Ingots.

Press the surplus into plates
Send spare ingots to the Compressor at 260 EU per Palladium Plate, or hammer one on a crafting table with the Forge Hammer.
Mine palladium ore with Fortune: every extra Raw Palladium multiplies into two dusts in the Macerator, while Silk Touch gains nothing here — one ore block grinds into the same two dusts as its single raw drop.

Frequently asked questions
Does Palladium Dust smelt in a vanilla furnace?
No. Palladium Dust turns into Palladium Ingot only in the Electric Furnace at 200 EU per ingot; the vanilla furnace and the blast furnace accept only Palladium Ore and Raw Palladium.
Does the blast furnace work with palladium?
Yes. Palladium Ore and Raw Palladium smelt in a blast furnace about twice as fast as in a regular furnace and still give 0.7 experience per Palladium Ingot; Palladium Dust stays Electric-Furnace-only.
Can a Palladium Ingot be turned back into dust?
Yes, the Macerator grinds one Palladium Ingot into one Palladium Dust for 300 EU — a recycling path with no doubling.
Does the Alloy Smelter accept palladium from other mods?
Yes. The recipe reads the c:ingots/palladium tag, so any conforming ingot works; Tempered Iron has no tag, and no foreign item can substitute for it.
Is it better to store palladium as ingots or as plates?
As ingots. The Alloy Smelter accepts palladium only in ingot form, and the plate is a step further — Palladium Plates go into the Reactor Control Circuit and the Advanced Choke.
Is Palladium Ingot available on Bedrock?
No. Ala Industrial runs only in Minecraft 26.2 Java Edition on Fabric and NeoForge; Bedrock Edition has no version of the mod.
