Are these real Minecraft advancements?

Accepted Answer

No. The generator creates a PNG image that looks like a Minecraft advancement toast. To trigger a real advancement on a server you still need a datapack with JSON files in /world/datapacks/.../advancements/. The PNG is intended for screenshots, videos, banners, and social posts.

What size is the downloaded image?

The PNG is 1280x256 pixels — high-resolution enough for YouTube thumbnails (1280x720) and Twitter cards. The icon is rendered with pixelated scaling so it stays crisp at any size.

What is the difference between the three frame types?

Accepted Answer

In the pop-up toast, tasks and goals both show a yellow header — Advancement Made! and Goal Reached! — while challenges show a pink Challenge Complete! header. In the in-game advancements menu the icon frame shape also differs: a plain square for tasks, an oval for goals, and a spiky frame for challenges. Goals are bigger milestones than tasks; challenges are the rare, hard objectives.

Can I upload my own icon?

Not yet. The icon library uses the same AlaCraft Minecraft block sprites you see on /blocks pages — about 50 of the most popular items. Custom uploads are on the roadmap.

Question 5

Does the URL preserve my exact preset?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The shareable URL encodes your title, description, icon, and frame as query parameters. When someone opens the link, the generator restores all four fields, so they see exactly what you created.

Question 6

Will the share image still work after I close my browser?

Accepted Answer

The HTML and BB code use a self-contained data: URI for the image, so it keeps working even if our site is down. The URL link opens our generator and re-renders the image from the parameters — it will keep working as long as alacraft.day is online.
