Description

Machine Casing is the foundational component block that every Ala Industrial machine is built upon in Minecraft 26.2. Crafted from 8 iron plates arranged in a hollow ring on a crafting table, the block serves as the structural body for LV-tier machines including the Macerator, Extractor, and Compressor. Each machine recipe combines one Machine Casing with a defining part and an electronic circuit, making the component the single most important intermediate in the mod's progression chain from ingot to plate to casing to working machine.

The casing itself holds no energy and interacts with nothing on its own — a pure intermediate part, yet the rugged grid-plating texture also makes Machine Casing a popular decorative building block. Any pickaxe breaks the block and it drops itself, so misplaced pieces are easy to recover. Because iron plates are renewable through iron golem farming, the resource is fully renewable, and Machine Casing works identically on both Fabric and NeoForge loaders for Java Edition.
