Description

The Extractor is an LV processing machine from Ala Industrial that pulls useful material out of raw inputs for 240 EU per operation. Drop a poppy in and the Extractor returns two red dyes instead of the one a crafting table gives, and the same doubling applies to most flowers, cactus, and blaze rods. The Extractor runs on 2 EU per tick, draws up to 32 EU per tick from an LV line, and stores 800 EU in its internal buffer. Each extraction takes 120 ticks, about six seconds, and the result stays in the output slot until the player or a hopper collects it, because auto-output is disabled. Feed the Extractor from a hopper-connected flower, kelp, or blaze farm and dyes, seeds, and blaze powder stop being a chore. The Extractor is crafted from a machine casing, an electronic circuit, four iron ingots, and a hopper on a crafting table, and it works identically on Fabric and NeoForge for Minecraft 26.2. Energy enters on the five working faces, while the front face the machine looks toward is inert, so route cables and hoppers around it. Any pickaxe breaks the Extractor, but it does not keep its charge when broken, so pick it up carefully or drain the buffer first.

How to use an Extractor in Minecraft

    Craft the Extractor

    Place a machine casing in the center slot, an electronic circuit below it, iron ingots around the sides, and a hopper on the top row to craft one Extractor on a crafting table.

    Connect an LV power line

    Run a cable from an LV source such as a Generator to any working face of the Extractor, so the 800 EU buffer fills at up to 32 EU per tick. The front face is inert and accepts neither cables nor hoppers.

    Drop in raw material

    Place a flower, cactus, blaze rod, pumpkin, melon slice or gravel into the single input slot. Each pull costs 240 EU and runs for 120 ticks, about six seconds.

    Collect the doubled output

    Grab the result from the output slot by hand or attach a hopper underneath, since auto-output is disabled and the Extractor never ejects items on its own.

Charge is lost on break

Any pickaxe breaks the Extractor, but it does not keep its EU charge when broken. Drain the 800 EU buffer before picking the machine up if the energy matters.
