Recycler is the Ala Industrial machine that grinds any junk into slag briquettes, and a mixed batch of mineral, metal and burnable waste pays rich slag.

Description
Recycler is a late LV-tier machine from the Ala Industrial mod for Minecraft 26.2 Java Edition, and it behaves the same on Fabric and NeoForge. The machine accepts any junk — stone, dirt, spare tools, the leftovers of a chest clear-out — and grinds one item per 40-tick operation while drawing 8 EU/t from an internal buffer of 800 EU; the input limit is 32 EU/t. Every ground item adds mass to the batch: a whole tool, weapon or piece of armor weighs 8, a block 4, an ordinary item 2, and anything the machine does not recognize 1. When the batch reaches 64 mass units, Recycler casts a slag briquette.
The grade of that briquette is decided by the variety of the batch, not its size: one fraction at 80% or more casts Poor Slag, two fractions in workable proportion cast Slag, and a mix of all three fractions — mineral, metal and burnable — with none over half casts Rich Slag, the feed for the future matter chain. Recycler does not run without blades: iron blades last 256 items at base speed, tempered blades work at ×1.4 speed and last 768, and diamond blades work at double speed and last 2048; a batch of 16 blocks costs 5120 EU with iron blades, 3584 with tempered and 2560 with diamond. The ash bin fills with every batch and stops the machine when full, so a hopper underneath is the usual fix. The craft takes 1 machine casing, 1 electronic circuit, 3 iron blades and 4 iron ingots, and Recycler destroys everything it is fed, diamond gear included, because there is no filter by design.

Craft the Recycler
Place a machine casing in the centre of a crafting table, an electronic circuit in the slot below it, an iron blade above the casing and one on each side, and an iron ingot in every corner — 1 casing, 1 circuit, 3 blades and 4 ingots in total.

Install the blades
Open the Recycler and put one set of grinding blades into the blade slot — without blades the machine refuses to start and says so in the status line.

Connect LV power
Run a cable to any of the five working faces of the Recycler — the front face is inert and takes no cables — and feed it up to 32 EU/t; the internal buffer holds 800 EU.

Feed it mixed junk
Drop stone, scrap tools and planks into the input slot together: a batch where mineral, metal and burnable waste all appear, with none of them over half, casts rich slag at 64 mass units.

Empty the ash bin
Take the ash out of the bin or put a hopper under the Recycler — at three quarters full the machine runs half again as slow, and a full bin stops it outright.
Important
Recycler destroys everything it is given, valuables included: there is no filter, and one wrong pipe connection costs a diamond set. Check what goes into the input slot before you feed the machine.
