Polymerizer
The Polymerizer is the first Ala Industrial machine that runs on a fluid: it boils one bucket of oil into raw rubber for 400 EU.
Description
There are two ways to feed the Polymerizer: a pipe or Pump from outside, or by hand — put a full bucket or capsule into the top slot and the empty container drops into the slot below. Energy enters through the five working faces, while the front face is inert: neither cables nor hoppers work through it. With less than a bucket in the tank the machine simply idles — the partial volume is neither spent nor lost — and a full output slot pauses the run without consuming oil. The Raw Rubber then goes into a Vulcanizer with Sulfur Dust, producing Rubber for future insulated cables and MV components. The Polymerizer itself is crafted from iron ingots, a bucket, a Machine Casing and an Electronic Circuit, breaks with any pickaxe (hardness 3.0, blast resistance 6.0) and keeps neither its charge nor its oil when broken.

How to use the Polymerizer in Minecraft
-
1
Craft the Polymerizer
Fill a crafting table with iron ingots down both sides, a bucket in the top middle, a Machine Casing in the center and an Electronic Circuit at the bottom middle.
-
2
Give it power
Connect an LV source such as a Generator to one of the five working faces; the front face accepts nothing. The buffer holds 800 EU and the machine draws 2 EU/t.
-
3
Fill the tank with oil
Pump oil into the machine or place a full bucket or capsule in the top slot — the empty container drops into the slot below. The tank holds ten buckets.
-
4
Wait for the run
Each operation drains one bucket of oil, costs 400 EU and takes 200 ticks (about ten seconds). With less than a bucket left the Polymerizer simply idles.
-
5
Collect the raw rubber
Take the Raw Rubber from the output slot by hand or with a hopper, then combine it with Sulfur Dust in a Vulcanizer to make Rubber.
The Polymerizer keeps neither its stored EU nor its oil when broken — drain the tank before you pick the machine up.

Frequently asked questions
What does the Polymerizer do in Ala Industrial?
It converts oil into Raw Rubber: one bucket (1,000 mB) per run, at a cost of 400 EU over 200 ticks.
How much oil does the Polymerizer tank hold?
The internal tank stores 10,000 mB — ten buckets — and accepts any oil carrying the common c:oil tag, including oil from other tech mods.
How do you fill the Polymerizer by hand?
Place a full bucket or capsule of oil in the top slot; the fluid drains into the tank and the empty container drops into the slot below.
How much power does the Polymerizer need?
It draws 2 EU per tick while working with a ceiling of 32 EU/t (LV) and an internal buffer of 800 EU, so any LV source such as a Generator is enough.
Does the Polymerizer lose its oil when broken?
Yes. A broken Polymerizer keeps neither its stored EU nor the oil in its tank, so everything inside is lost with the block.
