Advanced Machine Casing
Advanced Machine Casing is the MV-tier base block that Ala Industrial's mid-voltage machines — starting with the Assembler — are crafted on.
Description
Reaching Advanced Machine Casing means finishing two production chains. The cladding chain runs iron → Tempered Iron → plate: smelt iron ingots into Tempered Iron, then shape each ingot into a Tempered Iron Plate with the Forge Hammer or the Compressor. The innards chain is the oil line — oil → Polymerizer → Vulcanizer → rubber — needed for the two Advanced Circuits, so the mid tier demands a finished oil setup instead of another lap around the iron chain. Advanced Machine Casing is tougher than the LV casing (hardness 6.0, blast resistance 8.0), breaks with any pickaxe and drops itself, and it works identically on Fabric and NeoForge for Minecraft 26.2, while existing LV machines keep the plain Machine Casing in their recipes.

How to craft an Advanced Machine Casing in Ala Industrial
-
1
Smelt iron into Tempered Iron
Smelt six iron ingots in a furnace to turn them into Tempered Iron, the mid-tier metal of Ala Industrial.
-
2
Shape six Tempered Iron Plates
Process each piece of Tempered Iron with the Forge Hammer or in the Compressor to produce six Tempered Iron Plates for the cladding.
-
3
Craft two Advanced Circuits
Run the oil line — pump oil and process it through the Polymerizer and the Vulcanizer into rubber — and craft the two Advanced Circuits that seat in the casing.
-
4
Assemble the casing
Place a plain Machine Casing in the center of the 3×3 workbench grid, one Advanced Circuit on each side, and fill the top and bottom rows with the six plates.
Existing LV machines keep the plain Machine Casing in their recipes — Advanced Machine Casing is only required by MV crafts such as the Assembler, Reinforced Energy Storage and the Small Mob Repeller.

Frequently asked questions
How do you craft an Advanced Machine Casing?
Fill the top and bottom rows of the workbench grid with six Tempered Iron Plates, put a plain Machine Casing in the center and one Advanced Circuit on each side — the shaped recipe yields one Advanced Machine Casing.
Which machines use Advanced Machine Casing?
Advanced Machine Casing is the base of MV machines: the Assembler, Reinforced Energy Storage and the Small Mob Repeller all include it in their recipes.
Does Advanced Machine Casing store or generate energy?
No. Advanced Machine Casing is a passive crafting component and a building block — it holds no energy and interacts with no machines.
What tool breaks Advanced Machine Casing?
Any pickaxe breaks it with no tier requirement, and the block drops itself. It is tougher than the LV casing: hardness 6.0 and blast resistance 8.0.
What is the difference between Advanced Machine Casing and Machine Casing?
Machine Casing is the LV base made of eight iron plates, while Advanced Machine Casing is the MV step up — a plain casing clad in six Tempered Iron Plates with two Advanced Circuits, visibly darker in the world.
Is Advanced Machine Casing available on Bedrock?
No — Ala Industrial is a Java Edition mod for Minecraft 26.2 and runs on both the Fabric and NeoForge loaders.
