Reactor Controller is the single brain of an Ala Industrial reactor room: it scans the shell, names every fault with its exact spot and delivers up to 512 EU/t.
Description
Once the room seals, Reactor Controller becomes the reactor itself. Output potential counts 6 EU/t per fuel rod with a 25% bonus per adjacent fuelled column pair, clamped at the 512 EU/t HV ceiling before the depth slider (0/25/50/75/100%) scales it; the 200,000 EU buffer is a damper, not a store. Each fuel rod holds 144,000 EU no matter the layout. Water is the only coolant while the reaction runs: a dry reactor delivers the same EU/t but climbs to 100% heat and starts a 2–3 minute countdown to an explosion, cancelled only by holding the gauge below the top for 5 seconds — cut the redstone or feed water. Without a room the controller runs bare mode: 40% of output, hard cap 128 EU/t, rising instability and lava appearing within 5 blocks of every charged column. The craft takes 4 Shielding Plates, 2 Reinforced Shielding Plates, a Reactor Control Circuit, an Advanced Machine Casing and a Control Rod Drive — about 8 palladium ingots.

Craft the controller
Assemble 4 Shielding Plates, 2 Reinforced Shielding Plates, 1 Reactor Control Circuit, 1 Advanced Machine Casing and 1 Control Rod Drive in a 3x3 grid; the whole controller costs about 8 palladium ingots.

Place it in a vertical wall
Swap one shell panel of your reactor room for the Reactor Controller, facing outward; redstone goes to the front panel and the energy cable to any other face. A second controller in the same shell blocks the room from forming.

Seal the room
Close a shell with an interior of 3 to 12 blocks per edge and at most 30% Reactor Glass; the Room tab shows a map, a checklist and the coordinates of up to 12 holes.

Load the core and plumb the loop
Fill Reactor Columns with Fuel Rods, pipe water in through Reactor Inlets and give the steam a way out through a Steam Nozzle — a single column drinks 8 mB per tick, a dense 6-column core up to 273 mB.

Start and throttle
Give the controller a redstone signal and set rod depth on the Console tab; at 100% the room reaches 512 EU/t, so drain it with three independent lines or machines pressed against the outlets.
A room with enough water reads zero on the heat gauge; the WARNING chip lights as soon as water carries less than 95% of the reaction's heat. At 85% heat the room starts melting its own contents, and the countdown at 100% is cancelled only by holding the gauge below the top for 5 seconds.

How much power does a Reactor Controller produce?
Up to 512 EU/t at the HV tier: every fuel rod adds 6 EU/t and every adjacent fuelled column pair adds 25% to both columns, with the sum clamped at the 512 EU/t ceiling before the depth slider applies. A bigger room buys refuelling intervals, not more watts — everything past 512 is clipped by the ceiling.
What happens if the reactor runs without water?
Output stays the same, but nothing cools a running room except water, so the heat gauge climbs to 100% and arms a 2–3 minute countdown to an explosion. Feed water through Reactor Inlets or cut the redstone signal and let the stopped room cool on its own.
Can the controller work with no room at all?
Yes: touching Reactor Columns and shielding-alloy blocks form a bare-mode reactor with 40% of the output and a hard cap of 128 EU/t. Instability replaces heat there — three columns stand at about 90% forever, four run away — and blocks melt within 5 blocks of each charged column.
How do I cancel the accident countdown?
Bring the gauge below 100% and hold it there for 5 seconds: pull the redstone lever for a full scram or restore the water flow. A full energy buffer saves nothing, because the reaction keeps heating a reactor nobody draws power from.
Where does the cable connect?
Any face except the front panel. In a sealed room the power actually leaves through Reactor Outlet sockets in the wall; in bare mode the controller pushes EU straight out of its own faces, and an outlet stands dead.
