Shielding Plate
Shielding Plate is the rolled form of the shielding alloy in Ala Industrial — the base crafting material for every block of the nuclear reactor room.
Description
Everything the reactor room asks for is made of Shielding Plates: two plates craft eight blocks of Reactor Casing, one plate crafts eight of Reactor Glass, and the Reactor Controller takes four plates plus two reinforced ones. Two Shielding Plates hammered with one piece of depleted uranium produce a Reinforced Shielding Plate — a hammer-only form reserved for the Reactor Airlock Door and the Reactor Controller. Fuel Rod Cladding is the one craft that pays itself back: a spent fuel rod returns the cladding, so that plate is bought once for the reactor's whole service life. Palladium, the mod's only Nether ore, is the limiting input, but a single smelter batch yields three ingots — and therefore three Shielding Plates.
