Workstation
Workstation is a two-block MV computer you assemble from two casings to learn permanent skills for 30000 EU and Ala-Fragments.
Description
Learning a permanent skill on Workstation costs a flat 30000 EU per node plus Ala-Fragments at 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 8 per row; the Player Profile pays one fragment per earned level, which is 39 fragments by level forty. Energy enters only the lower half, only through its side and back faces — the front, a loose casing and the upper half take nothing — and a right-click answers with one chat line about assembly and buffer charge. Breaking either half turns the survivor back into a casing, no piston drags the computer apart, and hardness 3.0 with blast resistance 6.0 holds against explosions. Workstation rewards a finished base: budget 6 EU/t on an MV line and spend the full tree of 72 fragments on permanent bonuses.

How to build and power a Workstation in Ala Industrial
-
1
Craft the two casings
Combine one charged Resonant Crystal, one Reactor Control Circuit, two Resonance Coils, two Reinforced Bearings, one Advanced Machine Casing and two glass panes at a vanilla crafting table; the recipe yields both casings, exactly one station.
-
2
Stack the casings
Place the first casing on the ground and the second directly on top; the pair assembles with a click, and the lower half becomes the base that sets the machine's facing.
-
3
Run an MV cable to the lower half
Attach the cable to a side face or the back of the base: the front face, the upper half and a loose casing accept no energy at all.
-
4
Learn a permanent skill
Right-click the assembled computer to read the buffer charge, then spend 30000 EU plus Ala-Fragments on a skill node; the bonus stays with the player forever.
Workstation pays 6 EU/t upkeep while it simply stands, and an empty 40000 EU buffer leaves the screens dark. Break either half with a pickaxe to carry the computer away as two casings.

Frequently asked questions
How does the Workstation assemble in Ala Industrial?
Workstation assembles when you stack two crafted casings vertically: the pair snaps together with a click and the lower casing becomes the base. One crafting-table recipe produces both casings, so a single craft equals one station.
Why are the Workstation screens dark?
Dark screens mean the 40000 EU buffer is empty. The computer draws 6 EU/t upkeep even while idle, so run an MV cable into the side or back of the lower half and keep the grid delivering up to 128 EU/t.
How much does learning a skill on the Workstation cost?
Every skill node costs a flat 30000 EU from the buffer plus Ala-Fragments at 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 8 per row. The fragments come from earned Player Profile levels, which means 39 fragments by level forty.
Can a piston move the Workstation?
No. A piston cannot push or pull the assembled computer, because one half would ride away while the other stayed behind as a casing. Break either half with a pickaxe instead — the surviving half turns back into a casing.
Is there a Bedrock version of the Workstation?
No. Ala Industrial runs on Minecraft 26.2 Java Edition only, on both the Fabric and NeoForge loaders; a Bedrock Edition version of the mod does not exist.
