Reinforced Bearing
Reinforced Bearing is the upgraded rotating-joint part of Ala Industrial, built from two basic bearings and an electrum gear for advanced machine recipes.
Description
Reinforced Bearing gates three more advanced recipes: Diamond Grinding Blades (three diamonds and a set of Tempered Grinding Blades around one bearing), the Column Bore Module and the Workstation, whose craft consumes two Reinforced Bearings and returns two stations at once. Progression places Reinforced Bearing after bronze — an alloy of copper and tin — after electrum and after the Forge Hammer. Each craft spends two basic bearings, and one basic craft yields four, so a single early batch funds two Reinforced Bearings. Update MOD-467 introduced both bearings to give underused parts a real consumer chain: stone gears, nickel plates and reinforced bronze plates had no consumer recipe at all, and the electrum gear had exactly one. Ala Industrial runs on both Fabric and NeoForge, and Reinforced Bearing behaves identically on either loader.

Guide
How to craft a Reinforced Bearing in Ala Industrial
-
1
Craft the basic bearings
One early shaped craft built from nickel plates and a stone gear yields four Basic Bearings; the Reinforced Bearing recipe spends two of them.
-
2
Reach the bronze and electrum stage
Reinforced Bearing arrives after bronze — smelted from copper and tin — after electrum and after the Forge Hammer, so set up those chains first.
-
3
Prepare the plate and the gear
The pattern needs two Reinforced Bronze Plates and one Electrum Gear: the gear fills the center slot, and the plates sit above and below it.
-
4
Assemble the pattern
Place the Electrum Gear in the middle of a crafting table, a Basic Bearing to its left and right, and one Reinforced Bronze Plate above and below the row. Each craft returns exactly one Reinforced Bearing.
Unlike the basic version's output of four, one Reinforced Bearing craft returns a single item, and the Workstation recipe consumes two bearings at once — plan two reinforced crafts before building a station.

Frequently asked questions
What does the Reinforced Bearing craft into?
Reinforced Bearing is an ingredient in three recipes: Diamond Grinding Blades, the Column Bore Module and the Workstation. The Workstation craft takes two Reinforced Bearings and returns two stations at once.
Is the Reinforced Bearing a block, and does it store EU?
Neither. Reinforced Bearing is an item that exists only as a crafting ingredient: no placement, no EU buffer, no durability.
When does the Reinforced Bearing unlock in progression?
Reinforced Bearing belongs to a later stage than the basic version: bronze from copper and tin, electrum and the Forge Hammer all come first, and every craft consumes two Basic Bearings.
How is the Reinforced Bearing different from the Basic Bearing?
The Basic Bearing is the early nickel-and-stone-gear part that yields four per craft; Reinforced Bearing is the bronze-and-electrum upgrade, costs two basic ones and opens the advanced recipes.
Which version of Minecraft does the Reinforced Bearing need?
Reinforced Bearing ships with Ala Industrial for Minecraft Java Edition 26.2 and works on both the Fabric and the NeoForge loader.
