Electrum Gear is the premium rung of the Ala Industrial gear family: a pure crafting component that never places in the world, stacks to 64, and carries no EU buffer. The recipe follows the family formula on a vanilla crafting table — four electrum ingots in a cross around one wooden gear in the centre, one Electrum Gear per craft. Each electrum ingot melts in the Alloy Smelter from one gold ingot plus one silver ingot, the most expensive alloy in the mod by raw materials, so a single Electrum Gear commits four gold ingots and four silver ingots at once. The recipe unlocks in the recipe book as soon as a wooden gear and an electrum ingot share one inventory. Ala Industrial runs on Minecraft 26.2 Java Edition only and loads on both Fabric and NeoForge.

Exactly two recipes consume Electrum Gear, and both sit late in the tech tree. The Netherite Drill Head is assembled from three netherite scrap and two netherite alloy ingots around one Electrum Gear, then fitted at a smithing table to complete the Electric Drill's final tier. The Reinforced Bearing stacks two basic bearings between two reinforced bronze plates around one Electrum Gear — a rotating joint that gave the gear its second consumer. Lower on the ladder, the iron gear still carries the Portable Fluid Tank, the Item Pipe and the Wrench, while the wooden gear remains the blank every metal gear is pressed on. Craft Electrum Gear to order rather than in bulk: each consumer asks for exactly one gear, and the four-gold-plus-four-silver bill adds up fast.
