Sprinkler
Sprinkler is the one Ala Industrial machine that uses no EU at all, spraying nutrient solution over every crop on a 9×9 field to speed up ripening.
Description
The shaped recipe mirrors the machine: two copper plates with a gold gear between them on top, a lone iron plate as the mast in the middle, and two iron plates around a machine casing at the bottom. The finished Sprinkler stands on the floor among the crops or hangs from a ceiling like a lantern — click the underside of the block above — and the hanging version waters 3 blocks down instead of ±1. Nutrient solution is poured in from a bucket or a vacuum capsule, through the fill slot, from a hopper, or by a pipe on any face; the solution cannot be pumped back out. Inside a sealed greenhouse the Sprinkler becomes the third axis of acceleration next to water and power: the growth divisor is halved, and every growth event costs 50 mB — 200 mB for a finished crystal. A pickaxe mines Sprinkler at hardness 3.0, and breaking the placed block loses the tank contents.

How to use a Sprinkler in Minecraft
-
1
Craft the Sprinkler
Lay out the shaped recipe: two copper plates with a gold gear between them in the top row, one iron plate in the middle, and two iron plates around a machine casing in the bottom row.
-
2
Place the block in the middle of the plot
Put the Sprinkler where the spray covers the whole 9×9 field — the block belongs in the center. To hang it from a ceiling, click the underside of the block above; the hanging version waters 3 blocks down.
-
3
Fill the 4000 mB tank
Right-click the Sprinkler with a bucket or a vacuum capsule of nutrient solution, use the fill slot in the screen, or connect a pipe to any face. A full tank is 80 waterings.
-
4
Leave the Sprinkler to work
Every 20 ticks the block makes one watering attempt for 50 mB, paying only for growth that actually happened. No cable, no redstone and no supervision are needed.
Sprinkler is the one machine in Ala Industrial that consumes no energy — a cable will not even connect to it. Breaking the placed block loses the tank contents, and the poured-in solution cannot be pumped back out.

Frequently asked questions
Does the Sprinkler consume EU?
No. Sprinkler consumes no EU at all: the energy buffer is zero and a cable will not even connect to the block. Nutrient solution is the only currency, at 50 mB per watering.
How much nutrient solution does the Sprinkler hold?
The tank holds 4000 mB, or four buckets — 80 waterings, about 80 seconds of continuous spraying. A fully grown plot costs nothing, so in practice the tank lasts much longer.
How do I fill the Sprinkler?
Nutrient solution goes in from a bucket or a vacuum capsule in hand, through the fill slot in the screen, from a hopper, or by a pipe on any face. The solution cannot be pumped back out.
What area does one Sprinkler cover?
The spray reaches 4 blocks in every horizontal direction — a 9×9 plot with the Sprinkler in the center. Standing on the floor the zone is ±1 block high; hanging from a ceiling, 3 blocks down and none up.
Does the Sprinkler work in the crystal greenhouse?
Yes. The greenhouse controller counts a Sprinkler standing inside the sealed room as the third axis of acceleration next to water and power: the growth divisor is halved, at 50 mB per growth event — 200 mB for a finished crystal.
