Copper Plate is stamped from one copper ingot — by hand with a Forge Hammer or in the Compressor for 260 EU.
Description
In the current release, Copper Plate is consumed by the oil-refining chain: the Distillation Column needs two plates plus iron plates, machine casings, and an electronic circuit, while the Rectification Section takes four. Surplus plates are never wasted — a Macerator grinds one plate back into one copper dust for 300 EU, and an Electric Furnace smelts that dust into a fresh ingot for 200 EU, a net-zero loop with no metal duplication. The item carries the c:plates/copper tag for cross-mod compatibility and works identically on Fabric and NeoForge for Minecraft 26.2 (Java Edition).

Place a Forge Hammer and a copper ingot anywhere in the crafting grid. The shapeless recipe yields one Copper Plate and hands the hammer back with one durability point spent.

Feed copper ingots into a Compressor: each plate costs 260 EU (2 EU per tick for 130 ticks), so a full 20,000 EU battery bank presses about 76 plates unattended.
