Distillation Column
Distillation Column is Ala Industrial's first multiblock: a 1×1×3 tower turning 1000 mB of oil into 700 mB of diesel and 200 mB of fuel oil for 400 EU.
Description
The tower is assembled by hand in the LV tier (low voltage, up to 32 EU/t): two Iron Plates, two Machine Casings, two Copper Plates, one Electronic Circuit and two Iron Ingots craft a segment block, and three segments stacked on top of each other snap into a finished column. Energy enters only through the base, which buffers 800 EU and draws 2 EU/t; three 10,000 mB tanks hold oil in the middle, diesel at the top and fuel oil at the bottom, each marked by its coloured nozzle. Every distillation leaves 2% of coke fouling, and at 100% the column halts until a right-click with the wrench scrapes it clean and drops 1–3 coal. Breaking any segment degrades the tower, yet the base keeps its fluids, and a full output tank simply freezes the machine without spending a single EU. How to use the Distillation Column in Minecraft

Craft the segment block
Combine two Iron Plates, two Machine Casings, two Copper Plates, one Electronic Circuit and two Iron Ingots in a shaped grid — the recipe above yields one column segment.

Stack three segments
Place three segments one above another. The tower snaps together on its own: the lowest block becomes the base, and the two above turn into the middle and top sections.

Power the base
Run a cable to any face of the base. The column draws 2 EU/t up to the LV ceiling of 32 EU/t and warms up for 200 ticks (about 10 seconds) before the first distillation.

Feed oil and collect the fractions
Pump crude oil into the black nozzle at the middle segment, then draw diesel from the yellow nozzle at the top and fuel oil from the brown nozzle at the base — every tank holds 10,000 mB.

Scrape the coke fouling
Every run adds 2% of fouling, and at 100% the column stops. Right-click any segment with the wrench to clean it and collect 1–3 coal.
Fuel oil can go back through the intake: 1000 mB of fuel oil plus 400 EU distils into 600 mB of diesel, converting the cheap residue into denser fuel.
