Generator
Generator is the starter solid-fuel power block of Ala Industrial, burning coal or charcoal at a steady 8 EU/t to feed your first LV machines.
Description
Generator is crafted at a workbench from eight cobblestone, a furnace, and an Electronic Circuit, making it the first power source a player can build in Ala Industrial. A single slot accepts any furnace fuel, so a stack of coal or charcoal keeps a Macerator or other LV equipment running with power to spare. Generator does not keep its charge when broken, so drain the stored EU into a Battery Box before picking the block up. The Geothermal Generator, a stronger lava-burning upgrade, is crafted from Generator as the next step beyond solid fuel.

How to use a Generator in Ala Industrial
-
1
Craft the Generator
Build the Generator at a workbench from eight cobblestone, a furnace, and an Electronic Circuit. This is a standard shaped recipe that opens the first solid-fuel power source in Ala Industrial.
-
2
Load fuel into the slot
Open the Generator interface and place any vanilla furnace fuel — coal, charcoal, or a block of coal — into the single fuel slot. A lava bucket does not fit, since lava belongs to the Geothermal Generator.
-
3
Connect an LV cable
Run a Copper Cable from one of the five working faces of the Generator to your first machine, such as a Macerator. The front face is inert and accepts no cable or hopper connection.
-
4
Drain the charge before moving it
The Generator loses its stored EU when broken. Route the power into a Battery Box before picking the block up, so the charged energy is saved instead of wasted.
The Generator outputs EU at 8 EU/t only while burning and pauses once its 4000 EU buffer is full, so it is not a substitute for a dedicated storage block when you need to bank large amounts of energy.

Frequently asked questions
How much EU/t does the Generator produce in Ala Industrial?
The Generator produces a steady 8 EU/t while burning solid fuel, with a 4000 EU buffer that can push up to 32 EU/t onto an LV line.
What fuel does the Generator accept?
The Generator accepts any vanilla furnace fuel — coal, charcoal, blocks of coal, wooden planks, and other burnable items. Lava is not accepted, because lava is reserved for the Geothermal Generator.
How do I craft the Generator?
The Generator is crafted at a workbench from eight cobblestone, one furnace in the center, and one Electronic Circuit in the bottom-right slot.
Does the Generator keep its energy when broken?
No. The Generator loses its stored EU when picked up, so drain the charge into a Battery Box before moving the block.
Can I upgrade the Generator to something more powerful?
Yes. The Geothermal Generator is a lava-burning upgrade crafted from the Generator, smooth stone, and another Electronic Circuit, producing 16 EU/t.
Which loaders does the Generator work on?
The Generator works identically on both Fabric and NeoForge for Minecraft 26.2 (Java Edition), with no difference in performance or recipes.
