Description

Geothermal Generator is the most powerful generator currently implemented in the Ala Industrial mod for Minecraft 26.2, burning lava into a steady 16 EU/t (energy units per tick, where a tick is 1/20 of a second). One lava bucket fuels the machine for 1000 ticks and yields 16 000 EU, so a full 10-bucket internal tank stores enough lava for 160 000 EU before refuelling. The generator holds up to 4000 EU in its internal buffer and outputs energy on the LV tier (low voltage, capped at 32 EU per packet), making Geothermal Generator twice as strong as the basic coal Generator. Built for Minecraft 26.2 on Fabric or NeoForge, the machine accepts lava buckets or capsules in its input slot and returns the empty container automatically.

Crafting a Geothermal Generator requires seven smooth stone blocks arranged around one Generator in the centre and one Electronic Circuit in the bottom-middle slot of a crafting grid. Because lava can be farmed endlessly through pointed dripstone dripping into cauldrons and the 10-bucket tank rarely needs manual refilling, Geothermal Generator is the natural backbone of an Ala Industrial LV power grid driving machines, cables, and batteries. Players automate fuelling further by piping lava from a Pump directly into the tank, and any pickaxe breaks the block to recover it. As a Java Edition-only block, Geothermal Generator does not exist in Bedrock Edition.

How to use a Geothermal Generator in Ala Industrial

  1. 1

    Craft the generator

Place seven smooth stone blocks around the frame of a crafting grid, with one Generator in the centre and one Electronic Circuit in the bottom-middle slot to produce one Geothermal Generator.

  2. 2

    Fill the lava tank

Insert a lava bucket or lava capsule into the input slot; the empty container returns through the output slot and the 10-bucket tank gains one bucket of lava.

  3. 3

    Connect LV cables

Run Ala Industrial LV cables to the generator to feed its 16 EU/t output into machines, batteries, and the rest of the LV power grid.

  4. 4

    Automate refuelling

Pipe lava from a Pump directly into the tank to keep the 10-bucket reservoir full, so the generator runs without manual bucket refills.

Important

Geothermal Generator is a Java Edition-only block in Ala Industrial for Minecraft 26.2 and behaves identically on both the Fabric and NeoForge loaders; the block does not exist in Bedrock Edition.

Frequently asked questions

How much EU does a Geothermal Generator produce?

Geothermal Generator produces 16 EU per tick while burning lava, with an LV-tier maximum output of 32 EU per packet and a 4000 EU internal buffer.

How much energy does one lava bucket give?

One lava bucket burns for 1000 ticks and yields 16 000 EU inside the Geothermal Generator, so a full 10-bucket tank holds 160 000 EU.

How do you craft a Geothermal Generator?

Craft one Geothermal Generator from seven smooth stone blocks, one Generator in the centre, and one Electronic Circuit in the bottom-middle slot of a crafting grid.

Is the Geothermal Generator renewable?

Yes. Geothermal Generator is crafted from smooth stone, a Generator, and an Electronic Circuit, and lava can be farmed endlessly with pointed dripstone, so the whole power source is renewable.

Does the Geothermal Generator work on Fabric and NeoForge?

Yes. Geothermal Generator is a Java Edition-only block in Ala Industrial for Minecraft 26.2 and behaves identically on both the Fabric and NeoForge loaders.

What breaks a Geothermal Generator fastest?

Any pickaxe breaks Geothermal Generator, which has hardness 3.0 and blast resistance 6.0.
