Description

Rubber is a crafting material from IndustrialCraft 2 Experimental on Minecraft 1.12.2, used to insulate energy cables and build advanced machine parts. Players obtain Rubber by processing Sticky Resin, a sap that drops from Resin holes on the trunks of Rubber Trees when harvested with a Treetap. The IC2 Furnace recipe converts 1 Sticky Resin into 1 Rubber, while an IC2 Extractor produces 3 Rubber from the same input, tripling yield once electricity is available. Rubber is required for Insulated Copper Cable, Insulated Gold Cable and Insulated Tin Cable, which transfer EU safely without shocking nearby mobs and players.
