Hazmat Helmet is the head piece of the Industrial Craft 2 hazmat suit (hazard armor): the full set protects against fire, lava and radiation.
Description
Underwater, Hazmat Helmet refills the breath bar as soon as the bar drops to four bubbles, consuming one Air Cell from the inventory each time. A stock of Air Cells keeps the breath refills running on long dives. One Hazmat Helmet also goes into the bottom-middle cell of the Quantum Helmet recipe, so craft a spare before upgrading armor.

Gather the materials
Collect four Rubber, one Glass and one Red Dye for one Hazmat Helmet.

Craft the helmet
Open a crafting table, place Red Dye in the top-middle cell, Glass in the center and Rubber in the left-middle, right-middle, bottom-left and bottom-right cells, then take the finished Hazmat Helmet.

Wear the full set
Equip Hazmat Helmet in the helmet slot together with Hazmat Chestplate, Hazmat Leggings and Rubber Boots to gain protection from fire, lava and Nuclear Reactor radiation.

Dive with Air Cells
Keep Air Cells in the inventory: underwater, Hazmat Helmet refills the breath bar when it drops to four bubbles, spending one Air Cell each time.
One Hazmat Helmet sits in the bottom-middle cell of the Quantum Helmet recipe, so a second helmet saves a crafting round later.
