Description
Crafting one Advanced Batpack takes six Advanced Re Battery items, one Circuit, and one Copper casing on a crafting table, with the bottom-center cell left empty. The Iridium Drill and the Mining Laser are the only tools that cannot draw power from the Advanced Batpack; every other electric tool of power tier 2 or lower can. For deep digs and long expeditions, the Advanced Batpack turns the chestplate slot into a 600,000 EU reserve for every tier-2 tool in the loadout.

Craft the Advanced Batpack
Place one Circuit in the top-center cell of a crafting table, one Copper casing in the exact center, and six Advanced Re Battery items in the remaining cells, leaving the bottom-center cell empty.

Equip the pack as a chestplate
Open the inventory and put the Advanced Batpack in the chestplate slot, where armor normally goes.

Run any tier-2 electric tool
Use any electric tool with a power tier of 2 or lower, and the tool draws its energy straight from the Advanced Batpack instead of its internal buffer.

Plan around the two exceptions
Arrange separate charging for the Iridium Drill and the Mining Laser, the only two tools that cannot draw power from the Advanced Batpack.
Electric tools spend the Advanced Batpack's 600,000 EU before touching their own internal buffers and switch to those buffers only once the Advanced Batpack runs out of energy.
