Description
Advanced RE-Battery is the second tier of energy storage item in IndustrialCraft², the step up from the basic RE-Battery. Advanced RE-Battery holds 100,000 EU — exactly ten times the 10,000 EU inside an RE-Battery — and both accepts and releases energy at up to 128 EU per tick (1 tick = 1/20 of a second), the Medium Voltage power tier. Crafting one Advanced RE-Battery on a 3×3 grid costs 2 Copper Cable, 5 Bronze, 1 Sulfur, and 1 Lead: the cables sit in the top corners, Sulfur occupies the center, Lead goes directly beneath the Sulfur, and Bronze fills the five remaining cells.
Advanced RE-Battery also serves as a component for mid-game machines. Three Advanced RE-Batteries build a CESU — the tier-2 storage block with 300,000 EU capacity — and six assemble an Advanced Batpack, portable chest-slot power for electric armor and tools. Single Advanced RE-Batteries appear in the recipes for the MV Transformer, the Scanner, the Nightvision Goggles, and the Obscurator. An Advanced RE-Battery passes a full 100,000 EU charge in about 780 ticks (roughly 39 seconds) at the maximum 128 EU per tick rate, and one CESU holds exactly three full Advanced RE-Battery charges.
