Description

Broken Rubber Boat is an Industrial Craft 2 Experimental item that you receive when a Rubber Boat takes enough collision damage. Unlike a vanilla Minecraft boat, which is destroyed and drops sticks and planks on impact, the IC2 Rubber Boat converts into this single Broken Rubber Boat item that the player can pick up from the water or shore. The point of this design is to protect your investment: the Rubber Boat costs 5 Rubber to craft, and Rubber is a renewable but slow-growing IC2 resource harvested from rubber trees. Instead of losing that material, you keep one compact item and repair it. Repair is done on a normal crafting table using a shapeless recipe: place the Broken Rubber Boat together with one Rubber and you get a fresh Rubber Boat back. The repaired boat can then be placed on water and ridden like any other boat, but with the same IC2 protection against breaking on hard collisions. Broken Rubber Boat exists in IC2 Experimental on Minecraft 1.7.10, 1.10.2, and 1.12.2.

How to repair a Broken Rubber Boat in IC2 Experimental

    After your Rubber Boat collides with shore or a mob, look for the floating Broken Rubber Boat item and pick it up before it despawns.
