Tin Ingot
Tin Ingot is Ala Industrial's starter metal — smelt raw tin, ore, or dust into the ingot behind every LV-tier cable, circuit, and plate.
Description
Tin Ingot is the backbone of the LV tier (low voltage, capped at 32 EU/t). Tin and copper wire assemble into the Electronic Circuit that every LV machine requires at least one of, and a Tin Ingot also rolls into tin cable, an 8 EU/t wire that carries small LV packets with only 0.006 EU of loss per block. Running each ore through a Macerator first doubles the yield: one ore becomes two dust at 300 EU over 150 ticks, and each dust smelts into a Tin Ingot. Keep a steady stack flowing, because the Canning Machine then burns a Tin Ingot into every food can with no return.

How to get Tin Ingots in Ala Industrial
-
1
Mine tin ore underground
Tin is the most common of Ala Industrial's metals and spawns across middling depths, roughly the same band as copper. Mine tin ore with a stone pickaxe or better — wood and gold drop nothing.
-
2
Smelt the raw tin in a furnace
Place the raw tin drop, the tin ore block, or tin dust into a furnace or blast furnace. Each smelts into one Tin Ingot and grants 0.7 experience per item in a vanilla furnace.
-
3
Double the yield in a Macerator
Feed the ore block or raw tin into a Macerator first to get two tin dust at 300 EU over 150 ticks, then smelt each dust into a Tin Ingot. This route turns one ore into two ingots.
-
4
Craft LV cables and circuits
Use Tin Ingots to make tin cable, an 8 EU/t LV wire, and combine tin and copper wire into the Electronic Circuit every LV machine needs at least one of.
Ala Industrial runs on Minecraft 26.2 Java Edition for both Fabric and NeoForge. There is no Bedrock Edition version of Tin Ingot.

Frequently asked questions
Can you craft a Tin Ingot in Ala Industrial?
Yes. Smelt raw tin, tin ore, or tin dust in a furnace or blast furnace to produce one Tin Ingot, or use an electric furnace for 200 EU per ingot.
Is the Tin Ingot renewable?
No. Tin generates as finite ore in the world, so a Tin Ingot is a non-renewable resource that you eventually mine out.
How do you double Tin Ingot output?
Run the tin ore block or raw tin through a Macerator to get two tin dust at 300 EU over 150 ticks, then smelt each dust into a Tin Ingot for two ingots per ore.
What is the Tin Ingot used for?
Tin Ingots make tin cable for LV power, the Electronic Circuit every LV machine needs, and tin cans for the Canning Machine.
Does the Tin Ingot exist in Bedrock Edition?
No. Ala Industrial is a Java Edition mod for Minecraft 26.2 on Fabric and NeoForge, so Tin Ingot has no Bedrock Edition form.
