Tin Cable is the cheapest wire in Ala Industrial and the first rung of the energy-transfer ladder for Minecraft 26.2 on Fabric or NeoForge. It is a narrow LV cable with a working buffer of 8 EU and a packet cap of 8 EU/tick, deliberately set below the 32 EU/tick LV tier ceiling. What makes Tin Cable worth building is its loss figure: at 0.006 attenuation per block it sheds energy 3.3 times more slowly than Copper Cable's 0.02, so over a 50-block run an 8 EU/tick flow still delivers 6 EU where copper manages only 3.

That low-loss profile gives Tin Cable a clear niche on solar farms, where every panel trickles a small 1 EU packet that cheaper cabling would erode. The bare wire does carry one hazard: while energy is actually flowing through a segment it deals 2 damage within a 0.5-block radius, though a disconnected line or leftover buffer charge is safe. Tin Cable does not explode from overload; anything above 8 EU/packet simply fails to pass through, so a heavier flow calls for a higher-grade line such as Copper Cable (LV) or Gold Cable (MV). Crafting is cheap and early-game: three tin ingots in a row yield three Tin Cables, and the line can later be upgraded to the shock-free Insulated Tin Cable.
