Advanced Item Pipe is the second tier of item transport in the Ala Industrial mod for Minecraft 26.2 Java Edition, and it moves 4 items per second between chests and machines — twice the 2 items per second of the basic Item Pipe. Advanced Item Pipe consumes no energy at all: one transfer of 4 items fires on its own every 20 ticks (a tick is 1/20 of a game second). Each side of the pipe is given a role with the mod's Wrench: an orange funnel pulls items out of the neighbouring inventory, a turquoise nozzle pushes items in, and on the advanced tier both markers are coloured along their whole length. Advanced Item Pipe is hard to confuse with the first tier even from a distance: the body is noticeably thicker, made of lighter steel, and every piece carries a viewing window in a dark frame.

A line runs at the speed of its slowest pipe: one basic Item Pipe forgotten in the middle of an advanced line cuts the whole route back to 2 items per second, so an upgrade means replacing the line end to end rather than plugging in a single segment. A batch is counted per receiver, and one source serves one receiver per interval — a chest feeding three furnaces delivers 12 items per second in total, while three chests pushing into one receiver still deliver 4. Advanced Item Pipe never loses or duplicates items: a full receiver simply makes the item wait in place. The recipe on a crafting table takes 4 Item Pipes on the sides, 4 Reinforced Cupronickel Plates in the corners and 1 Silver Plate in the centre, and returns 4 advanced pipes — the basic pipe sits inside the recipe, so the second tier cannot be reached around the first. Advanced Item Pipe works with both the Fabric and NeoForge loaders and is harvested with a pickaxe.
