Silver Plate
Silver Plate is Ala Industrial's flat silver component, stamped from a silver ingot in the Compressor or forged by hand with the Forge Hammer.
Description
Every recipe that spends Silver Plate asks for exactly four. Four plates with two Copper Coils, two Electronic Circuits, and a Machine Casing build the Galvanic Bath; four plates with a soul lantern, an Advanced Machine Casing, an Advanced Circuit, and two Copper Coils build the Small Mob Repeller; four plates, four glass blocks, soul sand, and an Electronic Circuit shape the Soul Vessel; and four plates alone assemble into the decorative Silver Plating. A mis-stamped plate is never wasted: the Macerator grinds one Silver Plate into one silver dust for 300 EU, and the Electric Furnace smelts that dust back into an ingot for 200 EU, a net-zero loop. No villager sells plates — the level-2 Industrialist only buys three silver ingots for one emerald — and silver ore is finite, so Silver Plate is not renewable. The item stores no EU, stacks to 64, and behaves identically on Fabric and NeoForge for Minecraft 26.2 Java Edition.

Ala Industrial Guide
How to get a Silver Plate in Ala Industrial
-
1
Stock up on silver ingots
Mine silver ore and double it: the Macerator turns one silver ore into two silver dust, and the Electric Furnace smelts each dust into a silver ingot for 200 EU. Smelting Raw Silver in a vanilla furnace works too, but skips the doubling.
-
2
Forge by hand before electricity
On a crafting table, combine one silver ingot with the Forge Hammer to shape one Silver Plate. The hammer stays behind with a single point of durability lost.
-
3
Automate in the Compressor
Feed silver ingots into the Compressor and it stamps each one into a Silver Plate for 260 EU at 2 EU per tick over 130 ticks. Silver from any tech mod works — the recipe reads the c:ingots/silver tag.
-
4
Spend plates four at a time
Every consumer recipe takes exactly four Silver Plates: the Galvanic Bath, the Small Mob Repeller, the Soul Vessel, and the decorative Silver Plating block.
A spare Silver Plate goes back through the Macerator into one silver dust for 300 EU, so mis-stamped plates are never lost. The dust returns to an ingot in the Electric Furnace.

Frequently asked questions
Can you craft a Silver Plate without machines?
Yes. Combine one silver ingot with the Forge Hammer on a crafting table; the hammer survives with a single point of durability lost.
How much EU does the Compressor use per Silver Plate?
260 EU. The Compressor draws 2 EU per tick over 130 ticks to stamp one silver ingot into one Silver Plate.
What recipes use the Silver Plate?
The Galvanic Bath, the Small Mob Repeller, the Soul Vessel, and the decorative Silver Plating block — each recipe consumes exactly four Silver Plates.
Is the Silver Plate renewable?
No. Silver comes only from finite silver ore, no mob or farm produces it, and the level-2 Industrialist villager only buys silver ingots, never sells plates.
Can you recycle a Silver Plate?
Yes. The Macerator grinds one Silver Plate into one silver dust for 300 EU, and the Electric Furnace smelts that dust back into an ingot for 200 EU.
Does the Silver Plate have a tier or store EU?
No. Silver Plate is a plain crafting ingredient with no tier and no energy buffer; it stacks to 64.
