The crafting recipe is a shaped 2x2 pattern on a crafting table that turns exactly 4 silver plates into 1 Silver Plating block. Mining requires a pickaxe — any tier works, and without a pickaxe the block drops nothing. A properly mined Silver Plating drops itself, with hardness 5, blast resistance 6, a metallic sound, and a stack size of 64.

Silver Plating gives silver plates a building purpose: cladding workshop walls, machine halls, and floors in a clean industrial style. The cycle is fully reversible — 1 Silver Plating placed anywhere on the crafting grid (shapeless recipe) returns all 4 silver plates with no loss, so decorating never wastes metal. Each silver plate starts as a silver ingot, smelted from silver ore, deepslate silver ore, or raw silver, then flattened with a forge hammer or pressed in a compressor for 260 EU. Pair Silver Plating with Tempered Iron Plating for a two-tone metal facade, or with Machine Casing when the build calls for a working-machine accent.
