Description

Tin Plate is one of the eight metal plates in Ala Industrial and a foundational crafting component of the LV tier (low voltage, up to 32 EU/t). You make a Tin Plate by feeding a tin ingot into a Compressor, an LV machine that draws 2 EU/t for 130 ticks, so each plate costs 260 EU. Before you have power, the same plate can be hammered by hand: place a Forge Hammer and a tin ingot in a crafting grid and the hammer stays in the grid, losing 1 durability per plate out of its 128. Both routes output exactly one Tin Plate per ingot.

The Tin Plate is tin's first mass-consumed part. Five Tin Plates together with a glass pane craft eight Empty Cans, and six Tin Plates go into a Canning Machine alongside a piston, a machine casing, and an electronic circuit. Because tin is the mod's earliest and most common metal, Tin Plates are cheap to stamp in volume early on, then they give way to iron and copper plates as you move toward mid-tier machinery. Tin Plate is a crafting item rather than a block you can place, and the mod runs on Java Edition 26.2 only.

How to make a Tin Plate in Ala Industrial

    Smelt a tin ingot

    Mine tin ore underground with a stone pickaxe or better, then smelt the raw tin drop in a furnace to get the tin ingot that every Tin Plate starts from.

    Stamp it in the Compressor

    Feed the tin ingot into a Compressor powered at 2 EU/t. After 130 ticks (260 EU total) the machine outputs one Tin Plate — the main route once you have LV power.

    Or hammer it by hand

    With no power yet, put a Forge Hammer and a tin ingot in a crafting grid. The hammer stays in the grid and loses 1 of its 128 durability, giving you one Tin Plate per ingot.

    Spend the plates

    Use five Tin Plates and a glass pane to craft eight Empty Cans, or combine six Tin Plates with a piston, a machine casing and an electronic circuit to build a Canning Machine.

Not a placeable block

Tin Plate is a crafting item, not a block you can place in the world. Ala Industrial is a Java Edition 26.2 mod and is not available on Bedrock.
