How to mine and process deepslate tin in Ala Industrial
-
1
Mine deep with a stone pickaxe
Tin generates between Y −16 and Y 64 in the same band as copper, in veins of up to eight blocks. Wherever a vein passes through deepslate, the ore appears as Deepslate Tin Ore; bring a stone pickaxe or better, since wooden and golden ones drop nothing.
-
2
Collect the raw drop
Each block drops one Raw Tin. Fortune multiplies the drop, while Silk Touch returns the ore block itself — useful when you plan to macerate the whole block.
-
3
Double the yield with machines
Feed the ore block or the Raw Tin to the Macerator (300 EU) for two Tin Dust, then smelt each dust in the Electric Furnace (200 EU) — two Tin Ingots per block instead of one.
-
4
Craft the LV-tier components
Three Tin Ingots make three Tin Cable that carry 8 EU/t, two ingots over four planks build the Industrial Workbench, and the Alloy Smelter turns three copper ingots plus one tin ingot into two Bronze Ingots.
-
5
Renew your surplus
The Incubator in duplicate mode turns one Tin Ingot into two with a 55 percent chance per attempt at 4,000 EU, so tin stays renewable even after the veins run dry.
Tin Dust has no vanilla furnace or blasting recipe, so build the Electric Furnace before committing ore to the doubled route. The deepslate variant is harder to break than stone Tin Ore (4.5 versus 3.0 hardness) but yields the same drops.

Frequently asked questions
Where does Deepslate Tin Ore spawn?
In the deep part of tin's ore band between Y −16 and Y 64, wherever a tin vein cuts through deepslate instead of stone. Tin is the most common of Ala Industrial's metals, so the deepslate variant turns up regularly on deep mining trips.
What pickaxe do you need for Deepslate Tin Ore?
A stone pickaxe or better. Wooden and golden pickaxes break the block without dropping anything, and the deepslate form takes longer to mine than the stone variant (4.5 versus 3.0 hardness).
How many ingots does one Deepslate Tin Ore give?
Smelting the block or its Raw Tin drop yields one Tin Ingot. Grinding either form into two Tin Dust in the Macerator (300 EU) and smelting both in the Electric Furnace (200 EU each) yields two.
What is tin used for in Ala Industrial?
Tin Cable for 8 EU/t LV networks (three ingots make three cables), Bronze Ingots in the Alloy Smelter (three copper plus one tin for 1,200 EU), tin plates for Empty Cans, the Battery (two ingots plus redstone and copper cable), and the Industrial Workbench (two ingots over four planks).
Is tin renewable?
Yes. The Incubator's duplicate mode turns one Tin Ingot into two with a 55 percent success chance for 4,000 EU per attempt.
Does Deepslate Tin Ore exist in vanilla Minecraft or Bedrock?
No. Ala Industrial adds the whole tin chain for Minecraft 26.2 on the Java Edition — there is no Bedrock version — with identical behavior on Fabric and NeoForge.
