Description

Rubber is the finished product of the oil chain in Ala Industrial, a Java Edition mod for Minecraft 26.2 playable on Fabric or NeoForge. One bucket of oil (1000 mB) goes into the Polymerizer with 400 EU to yield one Raw Rubber; the Vulcanizer then heats that intermediate with four Sulfur Dust and another 400 EU to produce the finished item. The vanilla furnace smelt was removed, so the Vulcanizer is the only finishing step.

The heat source under the Vulcanizer sets the yield: a campfire gives one piece, lava or magma gives two, and an Electric Heater gives three from the same single batch of one Raw Rubber and four Sulfur Dust. Better heat saves sulfur, the most expensive input of the chain, rather than merely speeding the operation. Rubber is the material for insulated cables and the gateway into the MV tier, so stockpiling it early pays off once those recipes unlock. The full chain costs about 1800 EU per piece over a campfire and as little as 733 EU per piece with an Electric Heater.

How to make Rubber in Ala Industrial

  1. 1

    Gather oil and sulfur

Pump oil into a bucket and mine four Sulfur Dust. These two ingredients feed the whole rubber chain in Ala Industrial.

  2. 2

Make Raw Rubber in the Polymerizer

Put 1000 mB of oil (one bucket) into the Polymerizer. The machine spends 400 EU over 200 ticks and outputs one Raw Rubber, the intermediate item.

  3. 3

    Load the Vulcanizer

Place one Raw Rubber and four Sulfur Dust in the Vulcanizer. The operation needs another 400 EU and 200 ticks, so keep its internal buffer charged.

  4. 4

    Choose a heat source

Put a heat block under the Vulcanizer. A campfire yields one Rubber, lava or magma yields two, and an Electric Heater yields three from the same batch.

Why heat matters

Stronger heat triples the yield instead of speeding up the operation, so it saves Sulfur Dust, the most expensive input of the chain.

Frequently asked questions

How do you make Rubber in Ala Industrial?

Process one bucket of oil (1000 mB) in the Polymerizer for 400 EU to get one Raw Rubber, then heat it with four Sulfur Dust in the Vulcanizer for another 400 EU.

Can you smelt Rubber in a furnace?

No. The vanilla smelting recipe was removed, so the Vulcanizer is the only way to turn Raw Rubber into finished Rubber.

Does the heat source change how much Rubber you get?

Yes. A campfire yields one Rubber, lava or magma yields two, and an Electric Heater yields three from the same batch of one Raw Rubber and four Sulfur Dust.

What is Rubber used for in Ala Industrial?

Rubber is the material for insulated cables and the gateway into the MV tier, so it is worth stockpiling before those recipes unlock.

How much EU does a Rubber cost to make?

The full oil chain costs about 1800 EU per Rubber over a campfire and as little as 733 EU per Rubber when an Electric Heater triples the yield.

Is Ala Industrial available on Bedrock?

No. Ala Industrial is a Java Edition mod for Minecraft 26.2 and runs on Fabric or NeoForge, with no Bedrock Edition version.
