Shielding Leggings are the trousers of the four-piece shielding suit in the Ala Industrial mod for Minecraft 26.2 Java Edition, running on Fabric and NeoForge: worn together with the Shielding Helmet, Shielding Chestplate and Shielding Boots, they form the mod's only wearable radiation protection. Every worn piece cuts 25 % of the dose, so Shielding Leggings alone remove a quarter of the radiation; the complete suit blocks the uranium carried in your own inventory outright and caps any external field at 95 %, because 5 % of a live source always gets through. As armor the piece is deliberately weak: 2 armor points on the leather line, 0 toughness, enchantability 10 and a durability factor of 15 — iron-grade durability, leather-grade protection.

Durability is the price of shielding: any contact with uranium wears Shielding Leggings down — one point per second at a live reactor core, one every two seconds with enriched uranium in a pocket, one every eight seconds near ore. A broken piece stops shielding completely, so carry rubber and repair at an anvil. The suit is sealed leather and rubber, so Shielding Leggings also stop the electric shock of touching a bare live cable. The recipe stays early on purpose: 3 leather, 4 rubber from the vulcanizer and 1 yellow dye from a dandelion on a crafting table — protection that arrives only after the reactor would protect from nothing.
