Description

Oak planks are crafted from oak logs (one log produces four planks) and are the most universally used building block in Minecraft. Found naturally in villages, woodland mansions, and shipwrecks, oak planks serve as the foundation for almost every wooden recipe in the game: crafting table, stick, sticks, all wooden tools and weapons, doors, fences, signs, and stairs. They have a warm light-tan colour with a soft grain texture that fits most architectural styles. Wood is flammable, so planks should be kept away from open lava and lightning-prone roofs.

How to make oak planks in Minecraft

    Hit an oak tree with your hand or an axe to gather oak logs; an axe is much faster.

    Open your inventory's built-in crafting grid — planks need no crafting table.
