Description
Since Minecraft 1.20, Oak Sign supports text on both the front and back faces, and players can recolor the letters with any of the 16 dyes or make them shine in the dark using a glow ink sac. Applying a honeycomb waxes the Oak Sign and locks its text against further edits. Oak Sign is flammable and has no collision box, so players walk straight through a standing sign — a useful detail for hidden entrances and decorative builds that need a label without blocking movement.

Craft six oak planks from oak logs and one stick from two planks. Oak logs come from oak trees in plains, forests, and swamp biomes.

Fill the top two rows of the crafting grid with six oak planks and place one stick in the bottom-center slot to receive three Oak Signs.
