Description

Acacia Button is a wooden button that powers redstone for 1.5 seconds (30 ticks) after a player presses it. One block of Acacia Planks crafts one Acacia Button, and the button has existed since Java Edition 1.13 and Bedrock Edition 1.4.0. Acacia Button stacks to 64, counts as renewable (the supply can be farmed without limit), and breaks fastest with an axe, although any tool still makes it drop as an item.

Acacia Button attaches to the side, top, or bottom of any full opaque block. While pressed, Acacia Button powers adjacent redstone dust to power level 15, strongly powers the block it is attached to, and activates adjacent mechanisms such as pistons and redstone lamps. A stone button stays pressed for only 20 ticks (1 second), while Acacia Button also reacts to arrows and thrown tridents.

Switch off a stuck arrow

An arrow that hits Acacia Button keeps it pressed until the arrow despawns after 1 minute, so a player must pick up the arrow to end the signal sooner.
