Water Wheel is the durability component that slots into the wheel slot of a Water Mill in Ala Industrial for Minecraft 26.2. Without a Water Wheel installed, the Water Mill generates no EU at all, because the wheel is the part that converts flowing water into energy. Each Water Wheel has a maximum durability of 1000 and wears out only while the Water Mill is actively producing EU, with the wear proportional to the output. A full Water Wheel is worth about 320,000 EU of total generation, which is roughly six to seven in-game days of continuous running at a typical 2 EU/t, or about one hour if the Water Mill works flat out. When the durability runs out, the Water Wheel breaks and disappears from the slot, stopping generation until a replacement is installed.

A Water Wheel is crafted on a 3×3 grid from early-game materials: four planks in the corners, two copper ingots across the top and bottom middle, two sticks on the sides, and one Wooden Gear in the center. All of these ingredients are available at the same stage as the Water Mill, so the Water Wheel is ready as soon as the player builds a first water generator.
