Wooden Rotor is the blade component that every Ala Industrial wind mill needs in its rotor slot to generate EU. Without a Wooden Rotor installed, a wind mill produces nothing — the rotor is the part that actually catches the wind. The same Wooden Rotor fits the basic Wind Mill (T1, up to 8 EU/t), and after evolution the Sky Mill and Tempest Mill (both T2), so one component serves the whole wind-power line of the mod. A Wooden Rotor is a consumable with a durability bar (MOD-189): it wears out only while the wind mill actually generates EU, proportional to output, and about 1.5× faster in rain or thunder. A fresh Wooden Rotor lasts roughly 480,000 EU of production — close to an hour at a Wind Mill's peak 8 EU/t — and breaks when its durability runs out. Accumulated wear is preserved when the mill evolves from T1 to T2, so you do not lose progress on a half-used rotor.

Craft a Wooden Rotor in a 3×3 grid from early-game materials: four planks in the corners, two iron ingots across the centre column, two copper cables on the sides, and one wooden gear in the middle. The recipe is available for Minecraft 26.2 on Fabric or NeoForge and unlocks alongside your first wind mill, since it needs only wood, iron, copper cable and a wooden gear. A full rotor covers about five in-game days of continuous generation, so keep a spare Wooden Rotor crafted and ready — swap it in when the durability bar empties and the wind mill keeps turning. The Wooden Rotor is a non-stackable durability item (stack size 1), so plan inventory space when carrying spares.
