Reinforced Rotor
Reinforced Rotor is the middle grade of Ala Industrial wind mill blades: ×1.25 output and 1,800,000 EU of service life in the same rotor slot.
Description
Reinforced Rotor is crafted at a crafting table from the grade below it: three Tempered Iron Plates across the top, two Tempered Iron ingots at the sides, the Wooden Rotor in the centre, and an Iron Gear underneath. The ladder cannot be skipped, and a worn rotor works in the recipe exactly like a pristine one. The ×1.25 bonus is applied before the mill's own EU/t cap, so a moderate wind reaches the ceiling sooner while a storm peak stays capped for all three grades. When a Wind Turbine evolves into a Sky Mill or Tempest Mill, the installed rotor carries over with its accumulated wear, and the Component Repair Bench can burn the wear off for one item and some EU — each of its four repairs lowers the part's durability ceiling, so replacement eventually wins.

Guide
How to craft and install a Reinforced Rotor in Ala Industrial
-
1
Craft the Wooden Rotor first
Build the basic blade at a crafting table: four planks in the corners, two iron ingots top and bottom, two Copper Cable pieces at the sides and a Wooden Gear in the centre.
-
2
Stock the Tempered Iron
Smelt or blast iron ingots into Tempered Iron, then hammer each ingot into a Tempered Iron Plate at a crafting table or press it in the Compressor for 260 EU.
-
3
Assemble the Reinforced Rotor
Place three Tempered Iron Plates across the top row, a Tempered Iron ingot on each side of the middle row, the Wooden Rotor in the centre and an Iron Gear below it.
-
4
Swap it into the mill's rotor slot
Open the Wind Turbine — or the Sky Mill and Tempest Mill after evolution — and put the part into the dedicated rotor slot: the same slot accepts every grade, and an evolution carries the installed rotor over with its wear.
-
5
Maintain the wear bar
The rotor wears only while the mill generates, ×1.5 faster in rain or thunder; when the durability runs out, replace the blade or clear the wear at the Component Repair Bench, keeping in mind that each of its four repairs lowers the durability ceiling.
The ×1.25 bonus never raises a mill's EU/t cap: at a storm peak all three rotor grades produce the same, and only the service life differs.

Frequently asked questions
How much more power does the Reinforced Rotor give?
It multiplies the mill's output by ×1.25 compared to the Wooden Rotor. The bonus is applied before the mill's own EU/t cap, so at a storm peak all three grades hit the same ceiling.
How long does the Reinforced Rotor last?
It has 3,000 durability charged at 600 EU per point, for 1,800,000 EU of total output — about 19 in-game days of continuous typical operation. Wear accrues only while the mill generates and ×1.5 faster in rain or thunder.
Can you craft the Reinforced Rotor without the Wooden Rotor?
No. The Wooden Rotor sits in the centre of the recipe grid, and the grade ladder cannot be skipped. A worn Wooden Rotor works as an ingredient exactly like a pristine one.
Which machines accept the Reinforced Rotor?
Every wind device in Ala Industrial: the Wind Turbine, the Sky Mill and the Tempest Mill. The slot takes any rotor grade, and a T1-to-T2 evolution carries the installed rotor over with its accumulated wear.
Does the Reinforced Rotor stack?
No. It is a durability item with 3,000 maximum durability, so copies never stack — watch the wear bar in the rotor slot or your inventory instead.
