Description

Sky Mill is the T2 high-altitude wind generator of the Ala Industrial mod for Minecraft 26.2, producing up to 12 EU/tick from the wind. As an evolution of the basic Wind Turbine, it reaches its full 8 EU/tick base twice as fast with altitude — eight blocks per step instead of sixteen — so it peaks under the cloud deck around Y 188–192 and falls back to zero above Y 248. Weather multiplies its output only weakly: rain gives ×1.25 and thunder ×1.5, capped at 12 EU/tick, making the Sky Mill the steadiest turbine in fair conditions rather than the peak one. Its 8000 EU buffer is LV-tier, and power leaves only through the back face so the cable behind the block keeps working after evolution. The Sky Mill needs a clear 2×2 blade area in front, an installed windmill rotor, and open sky above; overlapping blades with a neighbouring turbine stops both.

Sky Mill is obtained only by evolution and has no crafting recipe. Place it high — at about Y 128 the Sky Mill already outputs 4 EU/tick, twice the Wind Turbine at the same height. To evolve one, insert a Solar Alignment Chip into a running Wind Turbine with a rotor installed under open sky and let it accumulate 33,600 active ticks (about 28 real minutes); the stored energy carries over and the rotor wears down with production at 480 EU per damage point, roughly five in-game days at a typical 4 EU/tick.

How to evolve a Sky Mill in Minecraft

    Build a Wind Turbine high

    Place a basic Wind Turbine at altitude under open sky so its rotor can spin and generate EU.
