Description

Advanced Rotor is the highest of the three blade components an Ala Industrial wind mill needs in its rotor slot — without a rotor installed, the mill generates nothing. Advanced Rotor multiplies the mill's output by 1.5 and carries 6,000 durability points worth 720 EU each, for a total of 4,320,000 EU: about 45 in-game days of continuous work and nine times the lifetime of the basic Wooden Rotor. The rotor wears only while the mill actually generates EU, proportionally to output and about 1.5× faster in rain or thunder; when the durability runs out, the part breaks. The ×1.5 bonus is applied before the generator's cap, so Advanced Rotor never raises the mill's EU/t ceiling — it pushes the mill to that ceiling sooner in moderate wind, while at a stormy peak all three grades hit the same limit.

Advanced Rotor is crafted from the grade below: one Reinforced Rotor in the centre of a 3×3 grid, two Tempered Iron Plates in the top corners, one Electronic Circuit between them, two Copper Cables on the sides and one Silver Gear under the centre. The ladder cannot be skipped, and a worn rotor works as an ingredient as well as a pristine one. The same Advanced Rotor fits the basic Wind Mill (T1) and, after evolution, the Sky Mill and Tempest Mill (T2); the rotor carries over with its accumulated wear, so the expensive part is never lost. When durability runs low, the Component Repair Bench clears the wear for one item and some EU — four repairs in total, each lowering the rotor's durability ceiling. The recipe works identically on Fabric and NeoForge for Minecraft 26.2.

How to use the Advanced Rotor in Ala Industrial

    Craft the Reinforced Rotor first

    The advanced grade is built on the reinforced one, so start by crafting a Reinforced Rotor from the wooden rotor, tempered iron and an iron gear.

    Assemble the Advanced Rotor

    In a 3×3 crafting grid place the Reinforced Rotor in the centre, two Tempered Iron Plates in the top corners, an Electronic Circuit at the top middle, two Copper Cables on the sides and a Silver Gear at the bottom middle.

    Install the rotor in a wind mill

    Open a Wind Mill, Sky Mill or Tempest Mill and put the Advanced Rotor into its rotor slot — until a rotor sits there, the machine produces no EU at all.

    Watch the durability bar

    The rotor wears only while the mill generates EU, about 1.5× faster in rain or thunder, so check the bar on maintenance trips and carry a spare rotor.

    Repair instead of recrafting

    The Component Repair Bench clears the accumulated wear for one item and some EU; four repairs are possible and each one lowers the rotor's durability ceiling.

Important

The ×1.5 bonus does not raise the mill's EU/t cap — at peak wind all three rotor grades hit the same ceiling. An upgraded Tempest Mill reaches 24 EU/t, twice what a copper cable carries, so use a gold cable or two separate lines.
