Nickel Ingot
Nickel Ingot is Ala Industrial's scarcest metal — smelt raw nickel, ore, or dust into the ingot behind electronic circuits, evolution chips, and nickel plates.
Description
Nickel Ingot earns its keep at LV (low voltage, capped at 32 EU/t): two Nickel Ingots go into every Electronic Circuit alongside silver, quartz, and an emerald, and that circuit builds both evolution chips that upgrade the solar panel and the wind mill to reinforced T2 versions. A Nickel Ingot also compresses into a nickel plate for 260 EU, alloys with a copper ingot into cupronickel, and sells to the Industrialist villager at three ingots per emerald. Running each ore through a Macerator first doubles the yield: one ore block or raw drop becomes two dust at 300 EU over 150 ticks, and each dust smelts into a Nickel Ingot. Macerate everything — nickel is the one metal you will not find in quantity — and stockpile spares, because the planned MV tier will use nickel for machine casings and advanced circuits.

How to get Nickel Ingots in Ala Industrial
-
1
Mine nickel ore near the bottom of the world
Nickel is the scarcest of Ala Industrial's metals and spawns in small veins deeper than tin, silver, or copper, in stone and deepslate near the bottom of the world. Mine nickel ore with a stone pickaxe or better — wood and gold drop nothing.
-
2
Smelt the raw nickel in a furnace
Place the raw nickel drop, the nickel ore block, or nickel dust into a furnace or blast furnace. Each smelts into one Nickel Ingot and grants 0.7 experience per item in a vanilla furnace.
-
3
Double the yield in a Macerator
Feed the ore block or raw nickel into a Macerator first to get two nickel dust at 300 EU over 150 ticks, then smelt each dust into a Nickel Ingot. This route turns one ore into two ingots.
-
4
Craft circuits and evolution chips
Two Nickel Ingots go into every Electronic Circuit with silver, quartz, and an emerald, and the circuit then builds the day and night evolution chips that upgrade the solar panel and the wind mill to T2.
Ala Industrial runs on Minecraft 26.2 Java Edition for both Fabric and NeoForge. There is no Bedrock Edition version of Nickel Ingot.

Frequently asked questions
Can you craft a Nickel Ingot in Ala Industrial?
Yes. Smelt raw nickel, nickel ore, or nickel dust in a furnace or blast furnace to produce one Nickel Ingot, or use an electric furnace for 200 EU per ingot.
Is the Nickel Ingot renewable?
No. Nickel generates as finite ore in the world and is the scarcest metal in Ala Industrial, so the Nickel Ingot is a non-renewable resource you eventually mine out.
How do you double Nickel Ingot output?
Run the nickel ore block or raw nickel through a Macerator to get two dust at 300 EU over 150 ticks, then smelt each dust into a Nickel Ingot for two ingots per ore.
What is the Nickel Ingot used for?
Nickel Ingots make the Electronic Circuit behind every LV machine, the day and night evolution chips for T2 solar and wind power, nickel plates at 260 EU, and the cupronickel alloy.
Does the Nickel Ingot exist in Bedrock Edition?
No. Ala Industrial is a Java Edition mod for Minecraft 26.2 on Fabric and NeoForge, so the Nickel Ingot has no Bedrock Edition form.
