Uu Matter Flow
Uu Matter Flow is the spreading wave of IndustrialCraft 2's UU-Matter liquid that a UU-Matter source pushes outward across blocks like flowing water.
Description
Uu Matter Flow has no use of its own beyond being the visual and mechanical shape the liquid takes in transit; the Replicator still consumes UU-Matter measured in milli-buckets, so collecting or piping the flow is equivalent to handling the source. Players lay out a Mass Fabricator above a tank so the produced UU-Matter forms a source, lets Uu Matter Flow spread into every tank cell, and then a Replicator draws the liquid back through Fluid Pipes. Because the source block regenerates from EU, the spreading Uu Matter Flow is a renewable sight in any late-stage IndustrialCraft 2 factory.

IndustrialCraft 2 Guide
How to handle Uu Matter Flow in IndustrialCraft 2
-
1
Place a Mass Fabricator above a tank
Set the Mass Fabricator so its produced UU-Matter drops into an open tank cell, because a UU-Matter source block is what spawns the spreading Uu Matter Flow tiles.
-
2
Let the source spread the flow
Once one mB of UU-Matter forms a source, the source automatically pushes Uu Matter Flow outward across adjacent empty cells and over ledges, mirroring how vanilla water spreads.
-
3
Pipe the flow into a Replicator
Connect Fluid Pipes to the tank holding the UU-Matter; the Replicator draws the liquid by milli-buckets, treating the source and the flow as the same fluid.
-
4
Remove the source to stop the flow
Pick up or block the UU-Matter source block when production pauses; with no source feeding it, every Uu Matter Flow tile dries up within a few ticks.
-
5
Store surplus in a Universal Fluid Cell
Use a Universal Fluid Cell on the tank to bottle extra UU-Matter, so a player keeps the renewable fuel compact instead of leaving the flow idling in the world.
Uu Matter Flow exists only with the IndustrialCraft 2 mod on Java Edition; vanilla Minecraft and Bedrock Edition have no equivalent fluid, and the flowing behaviour mirrors vanilla water inside the mod.

Frequently asked questions
What is Uu Matter Flow in IndustrialCraft 2?
Uu Matter Flow is the spreading, moving form of the UU-Matter liquid that appears when a UU-Matter source block pushes fluid outward, the same way vanilla water flows.
Can you craft Uu Matter Flow on a crafting table?
No. Uu Matter Flow is a fluid tile spawned only by a UU-Matter source; it cannot be crafted on a 3x3 grid or obtained through normal recipes.
Does Uu Matter Flow power the Replicator?
Yes. The Replicator draws UU-Matter measured in milli-buckets, so the source and the flowing Uu Matter Flow count as the same fuel when piped from a tank.
Is Uu Matter Flow renewable?
Yes. A Mass Fabricator rebuilds the UU-Matter source from EU, and that source regenerates the spreading Uu Matter Flow, making the flowing tile renewable.
Does Uu Matter Flow exist in vanilla Minecraft or Bedrock Edition?
No. Uu Matter Flow is specific to the IndustrialCraft 2 mod on Java Edition; vanilla Minecraft and Bedrock Edition have no equivalent fluid.
How do you stop Uu Matter Flow from spreading?
Remove or block the UU-Matter source block feeding it; without a source, every Uu Matter Flow tile dries up within a few ticks.
