Uu Matter (IndustrialCraft 2 mod) is the end-game resource of the IC2 tech tree, used to craft virtually any vanilla or modded item through dedicated recipes. Uu Matter is produced exclusively by the Mass Fabricator machine, which converts EU energy directly into raw matter at a base cost of 1,000,000 EU per single Uu Matter unit. Mass Fabricator output is dramatically accelerated by Scrap and Scrap Boxes fed from the Recycler, multiplying production by roughly 6x and reducing the effective energy cost. The Mass Fabricator demands a steady high-voltage supply, so most setups pair it with Nuclear Reactors, Solar Flower arrays, or large MFSU banks. Uu Matter recipes cover diamonds, iron ingots, redstone, lapis lazuli, glowstone dust, snowballs, and crucially iridium ore, the precursor of the Quantum-Suit armor set. Uu Matter is a Java Edition IC2 item with no Bedrock equivalent and exists only as an inventory item, never as a placeable world block. AlaCraft uses Uu Matter as the IC2 progression cap, marking the moment a player transitions from grinding ores to producing them on demand.
