Description
Shulker Box is crafted from two shulker shells (dropped by shulker mobs in End Cities) and one chest, in a vertical sandwich on the crafting grid. The device offers twenty-seven inventory slots like other containers, but its defining property is unprecedented: when broken, it drops as a single item that retains every item inside. No other vanilla block stores contents through pickup.
This transforms long-distance logistics. A player heading from main base to a remote outpost can pre-pack shulker boxes with everything needed — tools, food, materials — and carry them in a single inventory slot each, effectively giving twenty-seven slots inside one slot. The box opens with a smooth lift animation, blocks no light, and can be dyed any of sixteen colours by combining it with a dye on the crafting grid. Re-dyeing is possible at any point. The block emits a faint redstone signal proportional to fill level when read by a comparator.
