Description

Gray Shulker Box is the gray variant of the shulker box, a dyeable storage block that keeps its contents inside the dropped item when broken — a trait no chest or barrel offers. Every shulker box provides 27 inventory slots, the same count as a single chest or a barrel. Craft Gray Shulker Box by combining any shulker box with gray dye; the stored items survive the dyeing. The plain shulker box underneath comes from two shulker shells set above and below one chest. Mining Gray Shulker Box works with any tool or bare hand, though a pickaxe is the most effective, and the broken block drops itself with all cargo inside.

Gray Shulker Box compresses a full inventory into one item — break the block, travel, place the box again, and every stored stack reappears. A Gray Shulker Box cannot sit inside another shulker box, while hoppers load and unload the 27 slots freely. Destroying a Gray Shulker Box as an item scatters the stored contents on the ground, and piglins turn hostile toward any player who opens or mines a shulker box.
