Cyan Shulker Box is the cyan-dyed variant of the shulker box, a storage block that keeps all 27 slots of stored items inside the dropped item when mined, instead of scattering the load on the ground. A Cyan Shulker Box is crafted by combining any shulker box with cyan dye on a crafting grid, and the dyeing step preserves the items already stored inside. The plain shulker box required for the recipe is built from two shulker shells placed above and below a single chest. A pickaxe mines Cyan Shulker Box fastest, but any tool or even a bare hand works, and each drop still carries the full cargo. Cyan Shulker Box has hardness 2 and blast resistance 2, and shulker boxes drop themselves even when destroyed by explosions — a rarity among container blocks.

In survival play, Cyan Shulker Box works as a portable chest: mine the shulker box, carry the whole load in a single inventory slot, place Cyan Shulker Box at a new base, and take all 27 slots of items back out. Shulker boxes fit into chests and other containers but never into another shulker box. Hoppers fill and empty a Cyan Shulker Box automatically, and redstone comparators read how full the storage is. A cauldron filled with water washes out the cyan dye and returns a plain shulker box, at the cost of one water level. Piglins turn hostile toward players who open or mine a shulker box, including dyed variants.
