Kok-Sagyz
Kok-Sagyz is a steppe dandelion grown for rubber: dig the two-block root, the plant survives, and the tip regrows for harvest after harvest.
Description
Harvesting Kok-Sagyz is digging from below: the dug tip — the lowest root block — drops one Kok-Sagyz Root and a 35% chance of seeds, while the plant stays alive and regrows the tip, so no replanting is ever needed. Two roots macerate into Raw Rubber and Inulin for 300 EU, the vulcanizer turns the raw rubber with sulfur dust into rubber for another 400 EU, and the farm route costs about 700 EU per rubber against 1800 EU on the oil path. Ala Industrial runs on both Fabric and NeoForge, and the LV-era rubber goes into cable insulation, circuits and armor mesh. A field of twenty plants yields two to three roots a minute for as long as you keep digging.

Guide
How to grow and harvest Kok-Sagyz
-
1
Get the seeds
Find a wild flower in a savanna, on a mountain meadow or on windswept gravelly hills — new chunks only — or collect seeds from any Kok-Sagyz harvest, which returns them with a 35% chance.
-
2
Plant one seed on any ground
Place a Kok-Sagyz seed on grass, dirt, sand or farmland; a single block of soil is enough, and the root adapts its depth to the ground below.
-
3
Wait for the seed head
Kok-Sagyz grows at light level 9 or above through four visible stages; in sand every step takes 75% of the usual time, and bone meal or a sprinkler buys one step per use.
-
4
Dig the tip, not the flower
Hold Shift beside the flower to see the root through the soil, then break the lowest root block: the dig yields one Kok-Sagyz Root, and the plant regrows the tip.
-
5
Macerate and vulcanize
Feed two roots to the macerator for 300 EU to get Raw Rubber and Inulin, then process the raw rubber with sulfur dust in the vulcanizer for 400 EU per rubber.
Jumping or falling onto a Kok-Sagyz flower sets the plant back one growth stage, while sneaking is always safe; an iron scythe with a shift right-click digs ready tips one or two blocks deep without killing the plant.

Frequently asked questions
Does digging the root kill the Kok-Sagyz plant?
No — only breaking the flower can kill Kok-Sagyz. A dug tip regrows in about 10 minutes on ordinary ground and about 8 minutes in sand, while the flower stays mature.
Do I need to replant Kok-Sagyz after a harvest?
No replanting is ever needed, because one planting keeps producing forever. Every harvest also returns seeds with a 35% chance, so the patch keeps itself in planting stock.
Why does wild Kok-Sagyz never appear near my base?
Wild flowers generate only in newly created chunks — roughly one chunk in 48 in savanna, meadow and windswept hill biomes. Explored land never sprouts them, so bring seeds home from a far trip once.
Does tilled farmland speed up Kok-Sagyz growth?
No — farmland, grass, podzol, mycelium and mud all grow the crop at the same rate. Only sand and red sand are faster, cutting every growth step to 75% of the usual time.
What is the inulin from maceration used for?
Inulin is a by-product with no recipes yet. The macerator throws it out of the top because it does not stack with rubber, so a hopper or a pipe above the machine keeps the line running.
