Craft the Wind Mill
Place four iron ingots in the corners of a crafting table and one IC2 Generator in the centre to produce one Wind Mill.

Choose a high, clear site
Build a support block at Y=90 or higher with an empty 9x9x7 area around the rotor, since every nearby block lowers Wind Mill output.

Connect the Wind Mill to a BatBox or MFE using copper cable so the Energy Units flow into a buffer instead of overflowing the machine.

Open the Wind Mill GUI to watch EU/t in real time, then climb higher or remove nearby blocks until a stable 3-5 EU/t appears.

Add a safety margin for storms
Keep routine output below 5 EU/t, because thunderstorms multiply output by 1.5 and can push the Wind Mill past its explosion threshold.
