Nano-Leggings are Industrial Craft 2 leg armor running on EU (the mod's energy), absorbing each half-heart of damage for 5,000 EU instead of losing durability.
Description
Recharging Nano-Leggings requires the top slot of an MFE or an MFSU and a supply of 1,000,000 EU; Power Tier 1 and Tier 2 devices such as the BatBox and the CESU cannot charge the HV-tier armor. Nano-Leggings also serve as the central ingredient of the Quantum Leggings recipe, the next armor tier above the NanoSuit. Equip Nano-Leggings in the leggings armor slot to let the stored EU absorb the hits during cave dives and PvP fights.

Gather six Carbon Plates and one charged Energy Crystal before opening the crafting table.

Put the charged Energy Crystal in the top-center cell, leave the two cells under the crystal empty, and fill the six remaining cells with Carbon Plates.

Insert Nano-Leggings into the top slot of an MFE or an MFSU and supply 1,000,000 EU.

Place Nano-Leggings in the leggings armor slot; every half-heart of absorbed damage draws 5,000 EU from the charge.
Nano-Leggings are a Tier 3 (HV) item, so Tier 1–2 storage like the BatBox and the CESU cannot recharge the armor — use an MFE or an MFSU.
